12:00 PM to 1:30 PM: Flow Yoga Fundamentals

New to yoga? Never tried it, but wanted to get feel for what it's all about? Come by Flow Yoga Center for an intro to this 2500+ year old practice of health and wellness -- led by the inimitable Laura Zam.

Yoga Fundamentals is designed to introduce beginners to the basics of vinyasa flow yoga. In Yoga Fundamentals you'll begin to build the foundation for your yoga practice and will receive individualized attention as you gain flexibility, strength, and balance.

In this class you'll explore specific alignment of asanas (yoga poses) and asana sequences including standing, seated, backbends and sun salutations; as well as the relationship of movement and breath. Yogic breathing, meditation and relaxation techniques will also be introduced, perfect for stress relief and overall well being.

(NOTE: Class begins at 12:15pm, but please show up at least 15 minutes early to sign in.)
