May 12th - Not sure what to think of this City Paper post on Learnapalooza. I guess any press is good press?? The Capitol Letters Writing Center, who put on "How to Create a Memorable Character" gave us a nice write up on their blog.
May 11th - Photos are starting to roll in. Got some? Email them to us. Watch a slideshow on Flickr.com.
May 10th - Thank you, Local 16, for an awesome party and for buying all our workshop leaders a drink on the house!
May 10th - Great turnout! "Everything You Wanted to Know About Giant Pandas", one of the first sessions of the day, had 10 people and it only got better from there. "Improv for Facilitation" had 18 and was a lot of fun. Slackline had about 30 -- looked a little scary. Got my scooter fixed at "How to Fix Your Scooter". Woohoo! This is so fun!

May 8th -We've got a printable agenda with venue maps and a promo for the Local 16 event on the back. Download them here If you're so inspired, you could print a bunch of these out and hand them out around the office or school tomorrow.
May 8th - We're a *little bit famous*! We were in Daily Candy today, the Washingtonian yesterday, the Washington Post food section last weekend, and the City Paper last week. If you live in NW, look for us in City Living, and if you work in the non-profit world, look for an email from Idealist.org and OneWorld DC.
What does it all mean? That this is going to be a blast, and you'll meet lots of great people you never would otherwise. Tell the neighbors. Bring friends.
May 8th -Are you planning to *come to Local 16* after the workshops are over? If so, invite your friends. You can invite them through our Facebook event
May 8th -*We need your help!* Are you free Friday evening or willing to take an hour or two out on Saturday to help distribute workshop agendas at hot-spots around town? Please email Berit at info@learnapaloozadc.com with the subject "volunteer" if you can help.
